Job summary

Byggmeister Inc. is seeking an experienced residential carpenter to supervise and work alongside our field crew on remodeling projects around the metro Boston area. Join a worker-owned, woman-led firm committed to high performance and environmental responsibility.

You will read construction documents, lead crews, and ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery with a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of field experience in residential construction.
  • Ability to read and understand construction documents.
  • Strong carpentry and safety focus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and work with the field crew on residential remodels.
  • Read and interpret construction documents for projects.
  • Maintain personal and job-site safety at all times.
  • Own and maintain hand and power tools used on site.

Job description

  • Compensation: $35-$41 hourly depending on experience
  • Experience: 5 years of field experience in residential construction
  • Location: Working on job sites around the metro Boston area
  • Target Start Date: 9/21/26

Our project development team will set you up for success with fully designed and specified project plans, while our production manager will ensure that you have the resources and the support you need to complete your projects on time, on budget and to the clients’ satisfaction.
