At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate, reliable Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our growing team in the United States. We provide non-medical personal care, companionship and daily living support to seniors and adults with disabilities in their own homes.

As a Caregiver/PCA you will help with bathing, grooming, meals, housekeeping, mobility, and daily routines while promoting dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred
• Previous experience as a Caregiver, PCA, HHA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide, Direct Care Worker, or similar position is a plus
• Proof of current TB testing required
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position
• Must have reliable transportation
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing and ADLs while maintaining client dignity
• Prepare meals, help with feeding and light housekeeping
• Assist with laundry and maintaining a clean, safe home environment
• Provide companionship and encourage independence and social engagement
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe movement around the home
• Provide medication reminders according to care plans and requirements
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments and errands when applicable

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate and dependable support based on each client's individual needs and care plan.

Personal Care

• Assist with bathing and grooming
• Provide toileting and incontinence care
• Assist with dressing and personal hygiene
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Help clients maintain their dignity and independence

Home and Daily Living Support

• Prepare meals and assist with feeding, when applicable
• Perform light housekeeping
• Assist with laundry
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
• Assist clients with daily routines

Companionship and Support

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Encourage independence and social engagement
• Assist clients with appropriate daily activities
• Develop a respectful and supportive relationship with clients

Mobility Assistance

• Assist with ambulation
• Assist with transfers, as permitted by the client's care plan
• Support safe movement throughout the home

Medication Reminders

• Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan and applicable requirements

Transportation and Community Support

• Assist with transportation to medical appointments, when applicable
• Assist with errands and community activities, when applicable

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for caring, dependable, and responsible individuals who take pride in providing quality care.
