Job summary

Home Helpers Home Care of Gwinnett is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide quality care in Stone Mountain, Georgia, and surrounding areas. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of caregiving and the ability to follow care plans, promote safety, comfort, and independence.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, medication reminders, mobility support, and reporting changes to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of caregiving experience required.
• Previous home care or senior care experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
• Must meet background screening and hiring requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, as appropriate.
• Provide medication reminders according to the client care plan and company policies.
• Perform light housekeeping related to client care.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' conditions.
• Follow individualized care plans and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Treat every client with dignity, compassion, and respect.
