Job summary

Visiting Angels Eastside WA is looking for Experienced Caregivers to support clients across the Seattle area, including West Seattle and surrounding neighborhoods. You will provide personal care, companionship, meal prep, and light housekeeping while following individualized care plans.

The role offers flexible schedules, opportunities for training in dementia/Alzheimer’s care, and the chance to join a nationwide network of in-home care leaders. Comprehensive benefits apply for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time-management with ability to multitask.
• Reliable transportation to client homes during scheduled care times.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties; adhere to dietary guidelines.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light exercise and mobility as directed.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Report health changes or incidents promptly.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Respond quickly in emergencies.
• Accompany clients on shopping trips.
• Support medication reminders as applicable.
