Experienced Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to provide high-quality, non-medical care services to clients within the comfort of their own homes in the San Gabriel Valley area. This role is ideal for a dedicated caregiving professional who takes pride in supporting clients' independence, dignity, and well-being. Job Summary

The Experienced Caregiver will deliver personalized, in-home nonmedicalsupport to clients, assisting with daily living activities, companionship, and specialized dementia and Alzheimer's care. This position requires reliability, patience, and a genuine commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients in their private residences.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
• Assist clients with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment
• Prepare light meals according to client preferences and dietary needs
• Support clients with personal care tasks, including grooming and toileting, with respect and dignity
• Drive clients to appointments, errands, and community activities in a safe and timely manner
• Deliver specialized care and support to clients living with dementia and Alzheimer's disease
• Monitor and communicate any changes in a client's condition to appropriate parties
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure consistent, high-quality caregiving services

Required Qualifications

• Home California Aide Registry (HCA)
• Current Valid Tuberculosis Test
• Prior experience working as a caregiver, home health aide, or in a similar role
• Experience providing personal care, including grooming and toileting assistance
• Demonstrated experience or training in dementia and Alzheimer's caregiving
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for transporting clients
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately
• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
• Formal training in dementia care or Alzheimer's support programs
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Previous experience working with home care agencies

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of proper personal care and hygiene assistance techniques
• Familiarity with light housekeeping and meal preparation standards
• Understanding of dementia and Alzheimer's behavioral care strategies
• Safe driving skills for community transportation of clients
• Basic understanding of client safety and fall-prevention practices

Application Information

This is an in-person, non-remote caregiving position located throughout the San Gabriel Valley. Our main office is located in Temple City. Compensation ranges from $19 to $22 per hour, based on experience.
