Visiting Angels Midland is seeking an Experienced Caregiver to join our local team in Midland, serving the West Texas and Permian Basin area, including Odessa. The role focuses on compassionate in-home care for senior adults, with responsibilities ranging from light housekeeping and meal preparation to mobility assistance and transportation.

We provide opportunities for growth, including advanced training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Give clients medication reminders.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility in and around the home.

• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Run errands or accompany client on shopping trips.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.

Experienced Caregiver Responsibilities

• Give clients medication reminders
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Experienced Caregiver Requirements
