Job summary

Visiting Angels of Marble Falls is hiring an Experienced Caregiver to support clients in the Highland Lakes area, including Llano and Marble Falls. You will perform essential in-home care duties and follow individualized care plans.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship. Training available in dementia care; flexible shifts and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• First Aid and emergency response training provided if needed.
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes as scheduled.
• Physically capable of assisting with groceries and client support.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking per dietary constraints.
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards and background checks.
• Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten clients’ day.

Experienced Caregiver Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
