Job summary

A Place At Home Yorba Linda is seeking an In-Home Caregiver to support seniors with daily living activities in clients' homes. This role requires hands-on experience with personal care and safe transfer techniques to ensure client safety and comfort, with an hourly rate of $20.

You will provide essential support, follow care plans, and maintain a safe, respectful environment while delivering compassionate care and reliable transportation to clients in the local area.

Qualifications

• Active California HCA Per ID required.
• Minimum 2–3 years of caregiving experience.
• Proven experience with safe transfers and mobility assistance.
• Knowledge of proper body mechanics and fall prevention.
• Compassionate, patient, and professional attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background check and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Perform safe transfers using proper techniques.
• Support mobility and fall prevention.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Meal preparation and feeding if needed.
• Light housekeeping: laundry, dishes, tidying up.

Position Overview

As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide essential support to seniors and adults who need assistance with daily living activities. This role requires experience with personal care and safe transfer techniques to ensure client safety and comfort at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Perform safe transfers (bed, chair, wheelchair, toilet) using proper techniques
• Support mobility and fall prevention
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding if needed
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying up)
• Provide medication reminders (non-medical)
• Follow care plans and communicate updates with the care team
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for clients

Required Qualifications
