Pearce Services is seeking an Experienced Travel Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Technician for the PEARCE Renewables ESS division. This role involves operations and maintenance at solar energy projects across the United States, with travel up to 100% nationwide.

Core duties include troubleshooting BESS and data center equipment, performing LOTO procedures, and leading safety pre-task planning discussions. Electrical safety certifications are preferred; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of electrical proficiency relating to electrical systems and components.
• 2+ years of renewable energy experience preferred.

• Post-secondary education is preferred.
• Electrical certifications such as OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and NFPA70E are preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal skills to meet EHS requirements.

Responsabilidades

Your Impact

The Experienced Travel Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Technician in the PEARCE Renewables Energy Storage Systems (ESS) division performs tasks involving operations and maintenance (O&M) and physical labor at commercial and industrial solar energy projects located throughout United States.

This is up to a 100% travel role across the United States.

Core Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) equipment and Data Centers.
• Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) of equipment as an authorized person and under properly performed LOTO conditions.
• Conduct daily safety and task planning discussions including pre-task planning, Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs), and Risk Assessments (RAs).
• Interact with vendors and customers in a professional manner.
• Act as a team member to support site work which could include supervising field work onsite focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.

Core Experience

• 2+ years of electrical proficiency relating to electrical systems and components is required.
• 2+ years of Renewable energy experience is preferred.
• A commitment to safety and attention to detail with the ability to recognize potential issues and provide safe solutions.
• Post-secondary education is preferred.
• Electrical certifications are preferred such as OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and NFPA70E.
• Excellent written and verbal skills to meet Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) internal and external requirements is required.

Physical/Work Environment:

• This is a travel position-travel will be required for up to SIX weeks at a time. A per diem will be provided when traveling.
• Candidates must have a valid driver's license for at least a year.
• Work possible rotating shifts (100% travel is required for this position).
• Prolong standing and working in ergonomic challenging positions.
• Varied climates based upon locations.

Compensation:

Compensation: $25.00-$30.00 hourly/DOE and Per Diem

Base Pay Range: $25 USD - $30 USD
