Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic Bartender in Baton Rouge, LA. The ideal candidate will provide an excellent guest drinking experience, creating classic and innovative drinks. Responsibilities include preparing beverages, interacting with customers, and maintaining bar inventory. Candidates should have a proven background as a Bartender and excellent knowledge of drink mixing. This role includes compensation consisting of a base hourly rate and tips.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a Bartender.
• Excellent knowledge in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks.
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons

• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Requirements and skills

• Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of a second language isa plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the barorganized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate
