Bob's Main Street Auto & Towing, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles with accuracy and integrity.

You’ll work in a shop that values quality work, cleanliness, and respect, without the pressure of flat-rate targets. You’ll use Autel and Snap-On diagnostic tools, perform digital inspections on company iPads, and collaborate with service advisors to deliver precise estimates and effective repairs.

Qualifications

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across a wide range of vehicles.
• Use company-provided diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and software to accurately diagnose and service vehicles.
• Complete thorough digital vehicle inspections on a company-provided iPad at every visit.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors to support accurate estimates and repair recommendations.
• Support and lead less-experienced technicians by setting a strong example.

This role exists for a technician who already knows the craft and wants a shop that respects it. As an Experienced Automotive Technician at Bob’s Main Street Auto & Towing, you’ll be trusted to diagnose and repair vehicles accurately, use your judgment, and help protect customers through honest, high-quality work. You’ll perform digital inspections, collaborate with service advisors, and apply your experience to help prioritize what truly matters for the customer. What We’re Looking For in an Experienced Technician

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across a wide range of vehicles
• Confidently handle brakes, suspension, tires, scheduled maintenance, engines, transmissions, and complex repair work
• Use company-provided diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and software to accurately diagnose and service vehicles
• (Autel and Snap-On equipment provided)
• Complete thorough digital vehicle inspections on a company‑provided iPad at every visit
• Communicate clearly with Service Advisors to support accurate estimates and repair recommendationsWork within TekMetric to document findings and recommendations
• Support and lead less‑experienced technicians by setting a strong example
• Work collaboratively in a team-driven environment
• Follow all safety procedures and properly use company-provided safety equipment
• Maintain a clean, professional, and safe work area
