Job summary

Driven by Dobbs is seeking an Automotive Technician at our Arnold, MO location to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, with a focus on tire services, alignments, and preventive maintenance.

You will work with a team to uphold safety standards, document service per policy, and provide clear explanations to guests. Experience: 2+ years automotive repair or 2–4 years hands-on training; 1+ year alignment tech experience or completion of automotive program.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of automotive repair experience.
• 1+ year experience as an alignment technician or completion of a post-secondary vocational program in automotive technology.
• Extensive knowledge of tire installation, wheel balancing, and diagnosing ride disturbances.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Perform wheel alignments, tire services, and other suspension or steering adjustments as needed.
• Conduct general vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brake service, fluid checks, and tune-ups.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Maintain accurate service records and document completed work per company policies.
• Work collaboratively with team to maintain efficiency, quality, and safety.
