Group 1 Toyota Bowie, part of Group 1 Automotive, is seeking an Experienced Automotive Technician to join our service team. This role performs high‑quality repairs, diagnostics, and testing in a fast-paced shop, with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• ,2+ years of experience as an automotive technician
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• ASE certification(s) or similar certifications preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors
