Job summary
Morgan Truck Body in Plainfield, CT is looking for an Experienced Automotive Painter - 1st Shift. You will deliver high-quality finishes on truck components from prep to final spray, using cup guns and airless sprayers to meet exact specs.
Ideal candidates have auto body experience and can pass our paint test for cab and full body paint. We offer competitive pay up to $30.25/hour, benefits, and opportunities for growth in a long-standing manufacturing team.
Qualifications
- Must have auto body experience and pass paint test for cab and full body paint.
- Able to read blueprints and work orders to ensure prep-to-finish quality.
- Basic math and tape measure reading required.
- Comfortable with basic computer skills to support workflow.
Responsibilities
- Paint full truck bodies, chassis, cab, trailer, or tractor.
- Operate cup gun, pressure pot, plural system, and airless sprayer.
- Apply varied colors and finishes with accuracy.
- Read blueprints and work orders to ensure prep-to-finish quality.
- Set up and perform maintenance on paint tools and equipment.
- Follow safety policies and keep workspace clean.
