Job summary

Diagnostic Network, Inc. in Santa Barbara, CA is hiring an Experienced Automotive Technician for our family-owned shop, specializing in Land Rover and Jaguar. We are expanding and seek a skilled technician to join our team with a focus on quality service and customer satisfaction.

We are open Mon-Fri with no weekend shifts. The position includes training and paid continuing education; candidates must have own tools, a valid driver’s license, and ASE certification preferred.

Qualifications

• ASE certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Own tools required.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and ability to communicate issues clearly.
• Be coachable and follow company policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work specified on the repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with industry standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and perform diagnostic inspections using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, AC).
• Perform emissions repairs to meet state requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, fluids) and occasional engine or transmission work.
