Job summary

Midas is seeking automotive technicians to work in a full-service facility, performing diagnostics, repairs and maintenance with a team-oriented approach.

We value independence and collaboration, safety, and high productivity. Compensation ranges per hour and we welcome ASE certifications and/or automotive repair experience. Join a team dedicated to quality service for both foreign and domestic vehicles.

Qualifications

• Ability to repair vehicles independently and in a team setting.
• Knowledge of brakes, exhaust, suspension and engine diagnostics.
• Proven high personal productivity.
• Adherence to safety and environmental standards in repair facilities.
• Experience with shop equipment like lifts, tire changers, alignment machines and scan tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.
• State auto repair certifications and a valid driver's license.
• Own diagnostic tools and the ability to service foreign and domestic vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems.
• Conduct tires and tire repair, heating/AC, steering and suspension work.
• Handle belts/hoses, radiator cooling, batteries, starting/charging.
• Brake repair, oil changes, and check engine light issues.
• Perform mufflers/exhaust services and safety inspections.
• Ensure workmanship aligns with safety and quality standards.
