Job summary

CLA is hiring an Experienced Audit Associate to service Higher Education clients in New England. The role is an in-office position based out of our Massachusetts or Rhode Island offices, with potential for leadership growth.

You will perform audit engagements, supervise staff, and maintain client relationships to ensure timely results. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance is required, CPA or eligibility is preferred, and travel to client sites is expected.

• Proactively interact and communicate with clients to gather information for timely wrap-up.

CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP is hiring an Experienced Audit Associate to service our Higher Education clients in New England. As an Experienced Audit Associate, you will perform significant audit and other assurance engagements for our clients, build relationships, and assure continued close personal attention to their needs. CLA auditors get the footing they need to step confidently into leadership positions and more specialized practice areas. This position will be an in-office role based out of any one of our Massachusetts or Rhode Island offices.

What You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Current CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience in professional services required (completed internship(s) may qualify as related experience)
• Ability to travel to client sites which may also require infrequent overnight travel.

The compensation range for this position in Massachusetts is: $65,000.00 - $106,000.00
