Job summary

CohnReznick is actively seeking an Assurance Experienced Associate to join the Commercial Real Estate team in Baltimore. The role supports pre-engagement planning, execution, and delivery for real estate clients, with a focus on client management and leadership within a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years in public accounting, real estate experience preferred, and possess accounting degrees.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm.
• Real Estate experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA licensure achieved or eligibility to sit for the exam.
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables.
• Develop detailed engagement work plans.
• Manage a team of staff associates including interns.
• Gain the respect and confidence of the CRZ team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

In Maryland, the salary range for an Assurance Associate is $70,000 to $95,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded and inclusive parental benefits, and access to best-in-class learning and development platforms, to name a few.
