Job summary

Animal Hospital of Frisco is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team. You will provide high-quality medical, surgical, dental, and preventive care to companion animals, while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of clinical experience, strong surgical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
• Strong clinical and surgical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical, surgical, dental, and preventive care to companion animals.
• Conduct comprehensive examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Diagnose and manage a wide variety of medical conditions.
• Perform routine surgical and dental procedures.
• Communicate clearly with clients and provide compassionate education about their pets’ health.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and their pets.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to provide excellent patient care.
• Maintain thorough and accurate medical records and stay current with continuing education.
