Job summary

Centri in New York is seeking an Experienced Associate for its Accounting Advisory team. This role involves engaging with clients in emerging sectors such as Cannabis, Life Sciences, Technology, Digital Assets, and eSports. The successful candidate will assist with diverse accounting advisory engagements, including IPO readiness and restructuring while providing exceptional client service. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting and CPA readiness with a preference for public accounting experience. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent field.
• CPA qualification or CPA exam readiness.
• At least one year of relevant accounting experience; public accounting or professional services experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of accounting advisory engagements, including financial reporting, internal controls, technical accounting research, valuation, and tax, CFO, and HR advisory services.
• Participate in IPO readiness, restructuring, carve‑outs, divestitures, and other complex transactions.
• Work on accounting and reporting projects for clients in emerging sectors such as Cannabis, Life Sciences, Technology, Digital Assets, and eSports.
• Provide high‑quality client service and support the professional growth and competency of team members.

The role involves working on projects such as IPO Readiness, Restructuring, Mergers & Acquisitions, Divestitures and Carve‑Outs, Revenue Recognition, Lease Preparation, and more. Associates will engage with clients in emerging industries including Cannabis, Life Sciences, Technology, Digital Assets, and eSports, and will demonstrate excellent client service while supporting team members’ technical and professional development.
