Job summary

The role involves safe equipment operation, awareness of trenching/shoring standards, and accurate record-keeping. Travel to multiple locations may be required, with capability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform

Qualifications

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of trenching and shoring standards.
• Keep time and material records.
• Knowledge of aggregate sizes and classifications.
• Knowledge of weight requirements of loads leaving the pit.
• Understand basic measurements and how to read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Operate the front end loader and other construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform minor maintenance and refer major problems to supervisor.
• Record time and materials accurately.
• Assist with site setup, barricading and slope safety where required.
• Travel to various locations as needed and work on road, quarry or plant sites.
