Job Summary

At Kanaan Communications, LLC, the Experienced Aerial Lineman role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience and focuses on ensuring fiber and telecom lines are installed and maintained safely to keep communication services reliable.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair complex fiber/telecom cables and materials, promptly repairing any issues to ensure efficient and reliable service.
• Safely use equipment such as bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators, hand tools, and power tools including wrenches, drills, and saws.
• Maintain safe work areas so that traffic flows smoothly while on the job.
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed.
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license (non-Provisional) with an acceptable driving record.
• Valid state CDL license or willingness to obtain one.
• Minimum of five years of relevant Lineman experience.

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level at heights, in confined spaces and remote locations, climb stairs, use a ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, and lift up to 55 pounds; operate heavy machinery and vehicles.
• Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse.
