Description

Industrial Valve Sales and Service is looking for an Actuator Technician that will be responsible for performing actuator repair, troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning, as well as directing and mentoring individuals who perform work with them while at a customer’s job site or in the shop. The Actuator Technician should be proficient in electric and pneumatic actuators, auxiliary gears, and proper work rules.

Job Duties

1. Experience installing Shafer, Biffi, Bettis, EIM electric & pneumatic actuators.
2. Experience installing and troubleshooting actuator controls.
3. Experienced with stainless steel tube bending and installation.
4. Installation of seal kit for Shafer, Biffi, Bettis, EIM electric & pneumatic actuators.
5. Disassembly, reassembly, and troubleshooting of Shafer, Biffi, Bettis, EIM electric & pneumatic actuators.
6. Experienced in rigging and using service truck crane.
7. Experience with Limitorque, Rotork, EIM actuators is preferred.

Requirements

1. Valid Driver's License.
2. 5 to 10 years’ experience working on natural gas pipelines preferred.
3. Ability to clearly communicate with customers.
4. Able to maintain a DOT physical year to year.
