Experienced A&P Mechanic (1st Shift) – Tampa, FL

We are hiring immediately for a full-time A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) mechanic or AMT (Aircraft Maintenance Technician). This role is critical to our mission. We are offering up to a sign‑on bonus of up to $15,000.

What you will be doing as an A & P Mechanic

You will conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models. Responsibilities include:

• Mechanical Duties: Perform a variety of mechanical tasks on various aircraft models, including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare for flight and delivery
• Engine and Airframe Maintenance: Perform troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of turbine engines, including engine run‑ups. Carry out airframe system and component changes, systems checkout, and install service bulletins and kits on both airframes and engines
• Use of Tools and Equipment: Utilize equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and various hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies

Required Qualifications

• High school education or GED required
• A&P License required
• Knowledge of 100‑hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures as per FAR 43 is required
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance
• Knowledge of the FAA regulations and airframe and powerplant maintenance processes
