Job summary

Crossroads Church is seeking an Experience Producer to lead and execute the weekend service experience at a site or expansion. You will coordinate with Audio, Stage and Lighting, Video Directors, Worship Leader and Community Pastor to deliver immersive experiences.

This role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and a servant-leadership mindset, with willingness to work evenings and weekends and travel for site expansion events.

Qualifications

About CrossroadsCrossroads Church is a growing multi-site, interdenominational church. Our sites are currently located in Ohio and Kentucky, with plans to expand to additional cities. We’re not there yet, but it’s what we’re working toward with every hire and every person who walks through our doors.Job SummaryThe Experience Producer leads and executes the weekend service experience (for a specific site or site expansion) and other Crossroads experiences as needed. Projects will be assigned and determined based on the need for creative direction, creative production, budget management or implementation, production timelines, communication, and collaboration with different teams or ministry departments. Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesCreate immersive environments in which people can begin to be transformed by God’s truth and presence.Participate in the creation of key events at site supporting Crossroads’ overall mission, vision and goals.Project manages key events at site assisting stakeholders in discovering objective and employing execution.Collaborate with team to ensure technical elements of experience are understood and ready to execute.Effectively communicate mission by providing context & story around experience objective & audience.Encourage accurate and consistent use of Crossroads culture components including mission and vision, target audience, language, and branding.Execute weekend service experience in coordination with Audio Engineer, Stage and Lighting Director, Video Director, Worship Leader, and Community Pastor.Ensure seamless transitions between live and recorded elements by clearly communicating outline objectives and cueing service progressions.Equip and encourage Community Pastor or other communicators by providing constructive feedback around stage communication, teaching points and overall campus rapport.Work hours include Crossroads’ office hours as well as various weekends and evenings.Carry out additional project tasks and assignments as needed.Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent work experience.Experience/Skills RequirementsCommunicates (both verbally and written) clearly, directly and honestly, even under stress, and does so with a sustained positive attitude and demeanor.Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks.Organized, disciplined with priorities, meticulous attention to detail.Knowledge of Google web platform and willingness to learn other software tools as needed.Experience with Mac/PC, and web browsers.Takes initiative to understand departmental objectives, adapts to a changing and fluid environment, and proactively solves problems.Willing to take direction, humble and positive, mature judgment, and winsome personality.Performs independently and excellently without close supervision.Possesses a strong ethic of servant leadership and a passion for shared team goals.Performs effectively under pressure, and against strict time constraints.Physical RequirementsMust be able to walk up to 5 miles, standing, climbing, lifting, pulling, and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, and stooping as duties required.Must be able to lift up 25 to 50 lbs.Scheduling/Travel RequirementsMust be able to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, and other high impact events at Crossroads.For the Site Expansion Team, must be willing to travel weekly.Crossroads Staff QualitiesQualities all staff teammates should exhibit:Mission Oriented: Committed to the Crossroads mission and expectations in the staff “I Promise” document, including using the Bible as the ultimate standard of truth, practicing spiritual disciplines, tithing, and pursuing personal purity.Availability: Expected to work outside of “normal” schedule for All Hands on Deck high-impact events (Holy Week/Easter, Super Bowl, Christmas, others as needed), participate in all-staff meetings, day of solitude, offsites, etc.Authenticity: Communicates clearly, directly, and honestly, even under stress, and does so with a sustained positive attitude and demeanor.Personal Leadership: Envisions, energizes, and enables others to operate at full potential.Collaborative Self-starter: Thrives as an individual contributor and works well on a team.Proactive Problem Solver: Takes initiative to understand departmental objectives, adapts to changing and fluid environments, and proactively solves problems.Humility: Puts others above self and takes ownership of mistakes.Learner: Desires growth and learning from others.Flexibility: Able to quickly shift between projects as organizational direction and needs change, able to successfully balance competing priorities.Crossroads Church is an equal opportunity employer.
