Job summary

Method is a global design and engineering consultancy seeking experienced Experience Designers for future contract opportunities. Opportunities arise as client needs evolve, with involvement in research, strategy, and design across industries.

Compensation is hourly, typically in the range of $84–$127 per hour, discussed at connection for a potential engagement. As part of the Experience Design team, you’ll help frame opportunities, run research programs, lead workshops, and prototype future

Qualifications

Experience in design research, digital strategy, digital product design, and/or service design.
Undergraduate and/or Masters Degree in Design, Human Factors, Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
A unique point of view; able to question approaches, processes, and strategy.

Responsibilities

Define digital product and service solutions with different disciplines in a collaborative environment.
Plan, conduct, and interpret primary and secondary research to inform user interaction and visual direction; include interviews, usability studies, concept validation, usability testing.
Plan collaborative workshops and work sessions; lead sections as appropriate.
Create experience artifacts such as archetypes, customer journeys, service blueprints, ecosystems, design artifacts, prototypes.
Take ownership of your area of expertise to elevate the project vision and carry it forward.
