Job Description

As an Experience Design Senior Associate in Digital Channels, you will play a pivotal role in shaping customer experiences through consistent application of design across our ecosystem. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, you will leverage your expertise in UX and systems design, and provide guidance and direction in the patterns and interaction model of our products and services. As a core contributor, you will create engaging, user‑friendly interfaces that elegantly communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience. You will champion inclusive design and customer experience and contribute to the success of JPMorgan Chase's user experience design efforts.

Job Responsibilities
  • Create screen mock-ups, user flows and prototypes (as needed) to communicate and learn about your designs.
  • Create design documentation (wireframes, ADA and development specifications, prototypes) for the development of customer facing products.
  • Conduct data‑driven analyses to inform design decisions and use data to transform raw information into valuable insights to inform decision‑making.
  • Help define a design system and language and advocate its application across different products and platforms.
  • Be an active member of a larger design team, participate in design critiques and peer reviews.
  • Collaborate with product managers, executive and brand/marketing stakeholders to realize your designs.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant design discipline (e.g., Interaction Design, Human Computer Interface, User Experience Design), certification from a credible bootcamp or similar accelerated learning program, or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and optimizing user experiences across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and other digital channels.
  • Proven ability to create visually appealing and functional designs using industry‑standard tools (e.g., Figma).
  • Previous experience with collaboration within design teams (with other designers, UX researchers, and content designers) and cross‑functionally with product managers and software engineers.
  • Self‑directed in both planning and structuring work, and executing at expected levels of quality.
  • Advanced skills in Interaction Design as well as either Visual/UI Design or Information Architecture; intermediate ability in adjacent skills such as User Research, UX Writing, and Prototyping.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts to non‑design audiences using evidence and clear storytelling.
  • Ability to show how your understanding of technical constraints and opportunities informed your design solutions.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Advocate for Accessibility Guidelines and Inclusive Design practices.
