Job summary

Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is hiring part-time CNAs/GNAs to join our compassionate caregiver team. We offer training, support from owners, and a positive work environment with growth opportunities in a 20-year local service.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and monitoring health indicators while following care plans and instructions. Shift: Burtonsville 11:30 AM–3:30 PM, Monday-Thursday.

Qualifications

• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Current CNA license on file
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Reliable transportation to and from shifts
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to understand and follow care plans and assessments
• Current doctor's medical health clearance including negative TB test

Responsibilities

• Personal care (bathing, dressing, transfers)
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
• Assist with medication reminders
• Assist with ambulation
• Monitor BP and glucose levels
