Job summary

Pet Food Experts is seeking a Warehouse Expeditor to join our team in Kentucky. You will replenish products and fulfill customer orders by selecting, moving and loading items from racks onto pallets, using manual handling and warehouse equipment.

This role requires reading, writing and understanding English, a reliable schedule, and a positive attitude. Starting pay is $20.81 per hour with scheduled increases and opportunities to earn more as you gain tenure, with full benefits and a strong team

Qualifications

• Experience in safely operating warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, high reach truck) preferred.
• High dexterity and safe operation of warehouse equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience and certification for an electric pallet jack is a plus.
• Experience with Infor WMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely and solely bend, lift, move materials up to 50 lbs. repetitively and continuously throughout shift, manually and by operating warehousing equipment.
• Build pallets accurately, properly, and efficiently to ensure product is not damaged upon delivery to our customers.
• Read, write and understand English, including identifying numbers.
• Perform functions, accountabilities and supporting activities while complying with safety procedures, rules and regulations.
• Candidate must have reliable transportation, flexible schedule, solid attendance and a positive, professional attitude.

Warehouse Expeditor:

Our Warehouse Teams accurately replenish product or fulfill customer orders by selecting, moving and loading products (e.g. bags of dog/cat food, cases of cans, litter) from warehousing racks and storage areas onto pallets both manually and operating warehouse equipment.

Essential Functions:
