Qualifications

  • Partial High School education; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
  • Able to coordinate communication with multiple people and stations and maintain proper plate service with accuracy.
  • Possess or be able to complete ServSafe certification; strong sanitation skills.
  • Knowledge of culinary terms and practices; able to follow recipes.

Responsibilities

  • Set up garnish station for plate presentation and stock dishes/utensils.
  • Communicate with pantry and line cooks about soups, specials, and outed items; relay to dining room staff.
  • Maintain dish stock with kitchen porter and utility staff; ensure clean, organized work areas.
  • Adhere to ServSafe and HACCP sanitation guidelines and participate in safety meetings.
  • Deliver plates to servers with correct presentation and minimal waste.
  • Assist in maintaining sanitation and cleaning schedules for equipment and station.

Compensation Amount:15.00 USD HourlyJob Summary:Responsible for grouping together and accounting for dining room food orders from cook stations, and garnishing and completing plate presentation.
