Job summary

Lindblad Expeditions is seeking a Pantry Chef for our shipboard galley. You will prepare cold items for guest and crew meals, support sanitation, and manage stock in a fast‑paced environment. This role requires physical endurance and a disciplined approach to safety and cleanliness while working on a rotating schedule.

8 weeks on / 4 weeks off, with long days at sea and limited access to port. Prior culinary experience and teamwork skills are essential for success in this demanding role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of cooking and/or food service experience.
• Ability to follow recipes and direction from Head Chef.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork in a high‑pace galley.

Responsibilities

• Prepare salads, garnishes, dressings, desserts, and other cold items.
• Support galley cleanliness and proper food storage.
• Assist with dishwashing and stock rotation as needed.
• Maintain compliance with safety, sanitation, and health standards.
• Aid in supervising galley operations under direction.
