Job summary

Aston Carter is hiring Expedited Logistics Coordinators for a permanent, full-time, onsite role in Romulus, MI. You will manage time-sensitive shipments, coordinate with customers, carriers, and internal teams, and maintain clear communication throughout the process.

Strong communication, customer-service mindset, and multitasking are valued; logistics experience is a plus but not required. There are multiple shift options and a pay range of $22–$25 per hour, with eligible benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service mindset with professional phone presence

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor expedited shipments from order to delivery
• Track milestones and provide status updates on time
• Communicate with customers, carriers, vendors, and internal teams
• Provide proactive updates and respond to changing needs
• Enter and maintain accurate shipment data and docs
• Identify delays and escalate appropriately
• Manage multiple shipments and communications throughout the day
• Ensure continuity between shifts with critical details
