Join our dental practice in Urbana, OH, where we're seeking a skilled and dedicated expanded functions dental assistant to support our team and enhance patient care. As a member of our group practice, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Doctors in providing comprehensive dentistry.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in general dentistry and orthodontics
• Coronal polishing and X-ray certification required
• Experience with traditional ortho and clear aligners preferred
• Certificate from an approved dental assisting program in OH
• Strong dental knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with patients
• Willingness to go above and beyond to provide excellent patient service
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dentists with clinical and procedural tasks, including room setup and sterilization
• Greet patients, review medical histories, and prepare them for procedures
• Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols
• Take dental radiographs and digital photos
• Accurately document patient treatments and notes
• Monitor and restock clinical supplies
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
