Capozzi Dental in Etters, PA seeks a full-time Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our patient-centered team. The right candidate will prepare patients, take diagnostics radiographs, and help with fillings, sealants, and polishing while maintaining sterile and efficient procedures.

Qualifications

• Active EFDA license for Pennsylvania or completion of a Dental Assisting Program (or expected in next 3 months).
• CPR certification (in-house training available).
• PA X-Ray License required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure comfort.
• Take radiographs for diagnostics.
• Set up and maintain treatment rooms.
• Review and update patient dental records.
• Assist with placing and contouring fillings.
• Support in placing sealants and restorations.
• Coronal polishing, fluoride applications, and oral hygiene instruction.
• Sterilize equipment to maintain a safe work environment.
• Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure comfort.

Currently offering a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus for a Full-Time position.

$25.00-$30.50 per hour

Requirements

What You’ll Bring (Minimum Requirements):

• Active EFDA license for Pennsylvania or completion of a Dental Assisting Program (Or expected in the next 3 months)


• CPR certification (in-house training available)


• PA X-Ray License


• Strong communication skills to foster team spirit and ease patient concerns


• Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control procedures


• A Plus If You Also Have (preferred, but not required):


• Prior experience using dental software, including Open Dental
