Job summary

Pediatric Dental Associates in Lawrence, IN is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to support pediatric patients. You will assist the dentist in procedures, perform expanded functions, take and develop X-rays, and manage records with a focus on compassionate care.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a $500 sign-on bonus. Hours are Monday-Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm and Friday 7:45am-1:00pm; pay starts at $28 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an EFDA in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Desire to work in a pediatric setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Radiology certification.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
• Perform expanded functions, including restorations, extractions, and root canals.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.

Pediatric Dental Associates is seeking a passionate Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our close-knit team in providing top-notch dental care to our patients.

As an EFDA, you'll have the chance to showcase your expanded skills and knowledge, assisting our dentist in a variety of procedures, including restorations, extractions, and root canals. You'll take and develop dental X-rays, manage patient records, and provide education on oral hygiene and post-operative care. And, of course, you'll do it all with a friendly and empathetic approach that makes our patients feel at ease.

Location: Lawrence, IN

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm, Friday 7:45am-1:00pm
