Qualifications

Peach Tree Dental is seeking an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) to educate our patients to maintain a healthy smile for a lifetime, treat them like family, and keep them comfortable.

Responsibilities

• Taking radiographs
• Providing routine dental prophylaxis (polish)
• Maintaining infection control
• Providing oral hygiene instruction
• Maintaining/scheduling patients for regular preventive recall appointments
• Managing supplies
• Acommodating individual patient needs
• Educating the patient/parent about dental procedures
• Maintaining the clinic’s schedule efficiently
• Adhering to all OSHA and safety policies and procedures

Schedule

Schedule: Monday to Friday (7:30am – 5:00pm)

Saturday Rotation (7:50am - 1:00pm)

Compensation

• Starting from $16-$20 hourly
• Pay is based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher
• REQUIRED: Expanded Duty Dental Assistant Certification (issued by Louisiana State Board of Dentistry)
• REQUIRED: Dental X-Ray Certification
• CPR Certification
• 2+ years of clinical experience in a dental practice (preferred)
