Qualifications

• Georgia Expanded Duty Dental Assistant certificates strongly preferred.
• Certifications for expanded functions performed.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Dental radiography training and certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient four-handed chairside assistance.
• Perform expanded duties permitted by Georgia certifications.
• Anticipate doctors' needs throughout procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials and equipment.
• Assist with crowns, bridges, implants, extractions and cosmetic procedures.
• Take diagnostic digital radiographs and impressions with iTero scanner.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Dentrix.
• Sterilize instruments and manage infection-control protocols.
• Support multi-provider TEAM in a fast-paced setting.
