Job summary

Chestnut Hills-Johnstown Warren is seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EFDA) to support the clinical treatment care of our patients in a Heartland Dental supported office.

You will take and develop X-rays, assist the dentist, manage clinical supplies, and ensure OSHA and safety policies are followed while delivering high-quality dental care and patient experiences. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Expanded Duties Dental Assistant with positive, outgoing personality.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• DS terminology and dental procedures knowledge.
• Willingness to travel for training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Taking and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs.
• Assisting the dentist in managing dental emergencies.
• Organizing and maintaining lab equipment and supplies.
• Providing post-operative dental procedures and patient education.
