Associated Family Dental Care, a Heartland Dental supported office in Lexington, KY, is seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to support clinical treatment, educate patients, and take and develop X-rays.
You will assist with emergencies, manage supplies, and help keep the dentist’s schedule organized, while upholding OSHA and safety policies in a fast-paced team environment.
Associated Family Dental Care, a Heartland Dental supported office, is looking for a reliable and positive Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to support the clinical treatment care of our patients.
As an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant, you will play a large role in the provision of effective and trustworthy dental services, including sustaining patient comfort, soothing upset patients, listening to their needs, educating them on dental procedures, managing clinical supplies, maintaining the supported dentist’s schedule, adhering to all OSHA and company safety policies, organizing and maintaining lab equipment, taking and developing X-rays, providing comprehensive post‑operative dental procedures, and assisting with managing dental emergencies.

As an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant, you must have a positive and outgoing personality, exceptional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills, excellent patient care skills and strong organizational skills.
