Job summary

Coursey Family Dental is seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join our team. The role supports the clinical treatment care of patients, manages lab equipment, takes and develops X-rays, and assists the dentist in providing comprehensive dental services.

We are a Heartland Dental supported office offering strong benefits and ongoing education. The EDDA will help maintain patient comfort, educate patients on procedures, and ensure efficient scheduling in a busy practice.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience assisting chairside in a general dentistry setting.
• Excellent manual dexterity and patient care.
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Proficiency with dental software (Dentrix) and general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain lab equipment and take and develop X-rays.
• Provide comprehensive post-operative procedures.
• Assist dentist in managing dental emergencies.
• Assist with maintaining patient comfort and helping schedule patients.

Coursey Family Dental is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm with occasional Fridays

Requirements

As an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant, you must have a positive and outgoing personality, exceptional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills, excellent patient care skills and strong organizational skills.
