Job summary

Nomura is seeking an Equity Derivatives Product Control Vice President in New York. You will support the Equity Derivatives trading desk with structured products, complex derivatives, and robust control environments.

You will lead junior staff, collaborate with multiple functions, and ensure accurate P&L, risk controls, and regulatory reporting in a fast-paced, global financial services firm.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of equities-focused Product Control experience
• 4–5 years in Structured Products and/or Exotic Derivatives
• Knowledge of exotic pricing models and Greeks
• Experience with lifecycle events for structured products

Responsibilities

• Daily P&L reporting, Front-to-Back reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Engage with trading desk, Treasury, Ops, IT, and risk teams
• Lead process improvements and automation of exotic P&L workflows
• Manage funding, Day 1 P&L, and valuation adjustments for exotics
• Provide deal review support and guidance to offshore teams
• Ensure controls and KRIs for model risk and data quality
• Oversee month-end close and balance sheet substantiation
