Job summary

The Smithsonian Institution is seeking a candidate in the Exhibits Design, Exhibits Operations and Program Support area to assist with exhibition design and project management across all stages of exhibits development, from design through ongoing maintenance.

Ideal candidates will have specialized experience at the GS-11 level in the federal service and be prepared to work on a variety of exhibitions within the National Museum of the American Indian and related Smithsonian programs.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-11 in the Federal Service.
• Specialized experience includes assisting with designing an exhibition and helping in project management from design to ongoing maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with designing an exhibition and related visual materials.
• Support project management to draft, arrange, and order exhibition projects in all stages of exhibits development from design to ongoing maintenance.
