Job summary

The Betty Brinn Children's Museum is seeking an Exhibits Maintenance Technician to support the Exhibits Team by maintaining and repairing facilities and exhibits, ensuring all spaces are safe and functional for visitors.

This role involves performing routine maintenance, assisting with event setup, and troubleshooting equipment issues. Candidates must have at least 2 years of maintenance experience and a positive, proactive attitude.

Compensation includes a competitive hourly wage between $20-25, flexible scheduling, and benefits like paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in general maintenance or related hands-on work.
• Working knowledge of maintenance practices including carpentry and plumbing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on exhibits and facilities.
• Assist with general upkeep of Museum spaces.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential maintenance concerns.
