Valley Health System in Mahwah is seeking an Exercise Specialist to oversee general supervision of individuals in personalized exercise programs. You will perform fitness assessments, prescribe exercises, and enforce facility policies while maintaining a safe, clean gym environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and relevant certifications; one year of experience with special populations is expected. A strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in exercise physiology, exercise science, or related field required.
• Master’s degree in health-related field or exercise sciences related field preferred.
• Exercise Specialist or Exercise Physiologist certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individualized physical fitness assessments and exercise prescriptions.
• Supervise broad population in exercise routines and maintain facility policy enforcement.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness and preventative maintenance, deliver excellent customer service.
