Job summary

Briotix Health is seeking a full-time Industrial Sports Medicine Professional in Spartanburg, SC. The role focuses on on-site care for working athletes, performing post-offer testing and ergonomic assessments to prevent injuries and support safe hiring decisions.

Travel is limited to one on-site location with a 40-hour workweek, 5:00am–6:00pm coverage, and hourly pay. Ideal candidates have ATC/OT/PT/CEAS credentials or related experience in industrial health, with strong communication and OSHA

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial health settings and ergonomic program delivery.
• Knowledge of OSHA First Aid standards and guidelines.
• Ability to conduct functional testing and post-offer employment testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site services at one Spartanburg, SC location.
• Build positive relationships with Briotix Health clients and employees.
• Deliver injury and illness prevention education to individuals and groups.
• Provide on-site care and management of work- and non-work-related discomforts.
• Follow OSHA health and safety practices and EDM program steps.
• Perform Functional Employment Testing, Return to Work/Stay at Work, Ergonomic assessments, or Clinical Solutions as needed.
• Maintain thorough documentation in Briotix Health's system.
• Ensure safety policies and regulatory standards are followed.
• Assist with reporting and client communication as required.

Briotix Health is seeking a full-time Industrial Sports Medicine Professional!

Position Overview:

TheIndustrial Sports Medicine Professional is responsible for providing onsite care to the working athletes we serve by being the expert in job function and technical task analysis, maintaining a thorough understanding of functional body movements, discomforts, and following established OSHA First Aid standards and guidelines.

As a POET-Focused Industrial Sports Medicine Professional (Post-Offer Employment Testing):
In this role, you'll administer post-offer employment tests to determine whether industrial athletes can safely meet the physical demands of their job, primarily within manufacturing environments. Using specialized equipment similar to weight-training machines, you'll guide employees through standardized testing while the system electronically captures and calculates results. Your primary focus is to help prevent musculoskeletal injuries, support safe hiring decisions, and facilitate timely return-to-work through defensible Post-Offer Employment Testing (POET), Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs), and Fit-for-Duty assessments utilizing advanced testing technology.

This position is an integral part of the Industrial Sports Medicine Service line and will collaborate with other Briotix Health key stakeholders. The goals of the position are to develop strong relationships, provide injury prevention & early discomfort management (EDM) programs, and assist in providing ergonomic solutions to Briotix Health’s clients.

Job Duties:

• Provide on-site services at one (1) on-site locationinSpartanburg, SC.
• Create and maintain positive relationships between Briotix Health and client contacts.
• Initiate and establish professional and engaging relationships with client employees.
• Provide education & training for individuals and groups focused on injury and illness prevention.
• Provide onsite care and management of work and non-work-related discomforts.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of OSHA Health and Safety practices and follow established OSHA First Aid standards and guidelines.
• Understand, implement, and follow all steps of the Early Discomfort Management (EDM) program.
• Based on client requirements, you may provide Functional Employment Testing, Return to Work/Stay at Work Services, Ergonomic Assessments (including on-site, virtual, office, and vehicle), or Clinical Solutions.
• Detailed and timely reports are required for each of the services that you complete.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Briotix Health’s designated web-based system.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory standards in place for each specified worksite.
• Maintain personal responsibility to adhere to all Briotix Health company policies, practices, and government regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
