Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to plan, organize, and implement the Cardiac Rehabilitation and Pulmonary Rehabilitation programs and the Fitness First program under supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Rehab Manager.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, CPR certification, and ACLS within 1 year. Preferred master's degree and ACSM certification; experience as an EP in a clinical setting is valued. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an Exercise Physiology curriculum accredited by the relevant body.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• CPR certification required and ACLS within 1 year of employment.
• Experience as an EP in a hospital setting or internship is valued.
• ACSM certification recommended; professional organization membership encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement Cardiac Rehabilitation and Pulmonary Rehabilitation programs.
• Support the Fitness First program under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Rehab Manager.
