Job summary

Holy Cross Health Florida in Fort Lauderdale seeks a full-time fitness professional to conduct sub-maximal exercise stress tests, perform fitness evaluations, and create individual exercise prescriptions based on test results.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in exercise science or related field and at least one year of experience in a high-volume health and fitness facility, plus current BLS certification; advanced certifications are preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in exercise science or related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience at a high-volume health and fitness facility with current BLS certification.
• Advanced education/certifications in exercise prescription and/or fitness testing (ACE, AFAA, ACSM) preferred; cardiac rehab experience preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Required: Minimum Bachelors Degree or higher in exercise science or related field. A minimum of 1 year experience with a high volume health and fitness facility and current BLS certification.
• Preferred: Advanced education through college, ACE, AFAA, or ACSM in exercise prescription and /or fitness testing and implementation preferred. Cardiac rehabilitation experience preferred.
