Join a collaborative 51-bed Medical/Surgical and Medical/Telemetry unit at Atrium Health Cabarrus, specializing in the care of congestive heart failure (CHF) and Family Medicine patients. Our team includes RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and EPs who work alongside interdisciplinary partners to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. With a strong focus on safety, mobility, and clinical excellence , team members collaborate to support positive patient outcomes while delivering compassionate care in a dynamic acute care environment.
Assess, plan and direct patient mobilization and exercise programs in an inpatient setting. Works closely with other disciplines and specialties within the department and facility as well as patients and families to assure a cohesive approach to patient care
Bachelor’s degree in a Health/Fitness field required; prefer Exercise Physiology degree. Master’s Degree preferred.
Exercise Specialist certified by the American College of Sports Medicine or eligible to test for the same. ACSM-CEP (Clinical Exercise Physiologist) or ACSM EP-C certification preferred. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) from AHA required.
