Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center in Spokane, WA seeks an Exercise Physiologist to deliver direct patient care for outpatients in cardiopulmonary rehab, performing standardized fitness assessments and prescribing exercise as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
The role collaborates with the health care team, may supervise volunteers, and requires a Bachelor's in Exercise Science, internship, and BLS/ACLS certifications; one year of related experience is preferred.
Under the general direction of the Manager Cardiac Pulmonary Services, the Exercise Physiologist clinician provides direct patient care for outpatients by utilizing appropriate knowledge and skills in collaboration with other members of the health care team; providing skilled, creative discipline-specific therapeutic services to cardiopulmonary rehab patients. This includes standardized fitness assessments and exercise prescription of all assigned patients, and the development of a treatment plan. May supervise volunteers or other support personnel.
