Required experience in cardiac/pulmonary rehab, ECG interpretation, and CPR; ACLS within 6 months of hire. Bachelor's in exercise science or related field; MS preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in cardiac/pulmonary rehab, ECG interpretation preferred.
• Experience in exercise prescription and patient monitoring.
• Bachelor of Science in exercise science or related field; MS preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized exercise programs for cardiac and pulmonary rehab patients.
• Monitor patients during exercise sessions, including vital signs and ECG.
• Modify exercise plans based on patient response and progress.
• Lead group exercise sessions, including warm-up and cool-down.
• Provide patient education on exercise, risk factors, and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Support progression toward independent, home-based exercise routines.

Hourly Pay Range: $26.61 - $39.92 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Exercise Physiologist - Cardiac Rehab
• Hours: Hours of operation are 6 am- 7 pm, employee hours vary
• Schedule: 24 hours per week
• No weekends or holidays

What you will need:

• 1+ year of cardiac and/or pulmonary rehabilitation experience highly preferred ECG (EKG) interpretation skills
• Exercise prescription and patient monitoring experience
• Bachelor of Science degree in an exercise science or a related field (e.g. Kinesiology or Physical Education). Emphasis in exercise physiology preferred. MS preferred
• Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (within 6 months of hire)
